To raise awareness among the general public, healthcare professionals and advocacy communities around the gaps in care for women with bleeding disorders and to introduce the EHC’s key Principles of Care.
Together Video worked with the European Haemophilia Consortium to turn their position paper into a clear, compassionate and accessible animated explainer designed to educate and mobilise audiences.
Women living with bleeding disorders are often misdiagnosed, under-treated or overlooked. EHC needed a video that could:
Clearly define the issues and experiences faced by women
Introduce the Principles of Care developed by medical experts
Encourage advocacy for faster diagnosis, better treatment pathways and equitable access
Be easy to understand, emotionally respectful and suitable for global audiences
We developed a 2D animated explainer video built around voiceover narration and visual storytelling:
Scripted in partnership with EHC’s medical and advocacy team
Simplified complex clinical language into clear, human-centred messaging
Used minimalist character animation and iconography to reflect real experiences
Incorporated key statements from the Principles of Care
Added call-to-action graphics to drive engagement and social sharing
Delivered subtitled and voiceover versions for accessibility and localisation
Tone: informative, calm, empowering — not overly clinical.
The final video is being used across:
EHC’s website and social media campaigns
Advocacy efforts during international awareness days
Presentations to policymakers and healthcare stakeholders
Training and outreach to local haemophilia organisations across Europe
