To raise awareness of how long alcohol can remain in your system, especially in the “morning after” period — helping to reduce road incidents and inform the public.
We worked with VFI and Drink Aware to produce an animation that makes an important safety message digestible, accurate and shareable — all without sounding judgemental or overwhelming.
The video needed to:
Explain a complex topic in a clear, non-technical way
Communicate risks and timeframes around blood alcohol content
Maintain a neutral, non-lecturing tone
Be suitable for use by pubs, social campaigns, public agencies
Appeal to a wide adult audience across age groups
We created a 2D animated explainer with a friendly but informative style:
Developed a simple script focused on common misconceptions
Used engaging animation to depict scenarios, timeframes and BAC estimates
Delivered in multiple formats for use in social, pubs, ads and web
Tone: reassuring, clear, practical — designed to inform, not lecture.
The video is now used to:
Support national Drink Aware campaigns
Be shared in hospitality settings and pub awareness materials
Appear on road safety social channels and websites
Promote a better understanding of the “morning after” risk around driving
