A heartfelt video telling the real story behind one woman’s decision to leave a gift in her will - in support of future guide dog partnerships.


OBJECTIVE

To raise awareness of IGDB’s legacy giving programme and encourage donors to consider leaving a gift in their will.


THE CHALLENGE

This project needed to:

  • Tell a personal story with depth and honesty

  • Show how a donor’s decision could impact future generations

  • Align with IGDB’s tone of warmth, empowerment and positivity

Be suitable for long-term use across digital, events and estate planning materials

Legacy fundraising requires a careful emotional balance — one that respects the viewer, avoids over-sentimentality and builds trust.


OUR APPROACH

Together Video led the end-to-end creative process:

  • Pre-production meetings to map a natural storytelling structure

  • Filmed on location with Emma in a relaxed, conversational format

  • Included relevant cutaways of Emma with dogs, IGDB materials and home setting

  • Integrated on-screen graphics to reinforce messaging on legacy giving

Delivered short and full-length versions for website, YouTube and donor email campaigns
