To document and promote the opening of a community exhibition — the culmination of a creative project involving young children and local artists as part of NEIC’s broader regeneration work
NEIC projects aim to reflect real community impact. This video needed to:
Showcase the energy and engagement of the children and artists involved
Respect the tone of the event — celebratory, inclusive and non-commercial
Provide usable content for digital, stakeholder and local media use
Be edited and delivered quickly, with subtitling for accessibility
We designed a compact, discreet production setup to capture the event without disrupting the atmosphere:
On-location filming of the exhibition’s opening moments
B-roll footage of artworks, interactions, young participants and facilitators
Interviews with programme leads, stakeholders and parents
Voiceover-free edit, allowing visuals and event energy to carry the message
Subtitled final version suitable for social and public sector accessibility standards
Fast turnaround post-production for timely use
The result: a warm, engaging video that authentically represents the programme’s spirit.
The final video was used to:
Document and celebrate the work of participating children, families and artists
Support NEIC’s reporting, social impact communication and digital archives
Strengthen public awareness of the Early Years pillar within the NEIC regeneration strategy
Contribute to broader cultural inclusion messaging in the area
