Documentary Video for NEIC – Telling Emmet Brennan’s Olympic Story

To spotlight a home-grown success story — celebrating Emmet Brennan’s Olympic qualification as a symbol of local strength and inspiring role models from the North East Inner City of Dublin.

Together Video was commissioned by NEIC to document the journey of a local boxing hero, showing how individual determination and community support intersect to build a brighter future.

The project had to:

• Balance the personal story of Emmet Brennan with the larger narrative of community pride

• Be suitable for both local viewing and broader public comms

• Feel authentic, inspiring and rooted in place

We produced a short-form documentary piece, blending raw training footage, community imagery and personal interview elements:

• Interviewed Emmet and his coaches and spent time with them during training

• Shot with a cinematic tone — hand-held realism with controlled pacing

• Layered with emotive score and sound design to support tone

• Delivered for use across web, social media and outreach presentations

Tone: uplifting — designed to resonate with both local pride and national ambition.

The video has been used to:

• Inspire community youth through social media and local channels
